A day in the life of:
Sue is a Chartered Accountant and has spent the last 15 years working at an Executive/Board level in a number of organisations. A new chapter in her career starts in September 2017 as she takes up a role closer to home at the Royal Agricultural University as Director of Finance – very exciting!
When she isn’t busy formulating and overseeing financial and treasury strategy, Sue enjoys spending time with her partner and the 4 children they have between them. Music dominates the household with everyone enjoying singing or playing some kind of instrument – an obvious recipe for a family band you would think – not a chance - but maybe that will change when the children stop being embarrassed by their parents.
Recent attempts to go back to playing netball haven’t quite gone to plan but Sue has decided to try and get more fit so that she can keep up with her children on the ski slopes – is she for real! A reading club is a little more successful although there is often more wine drunk than books read … life is to be lived is Sue’s motto!
Sue enjoys a variety of music genre, plays a little piano and has recently dabbled in being a rock chick singing in a band. However, Sue is never happier than when she is singing with her fabulous sisters and supporting worthwhile causes through being “united in voice”.
